3577826 - Outgoing Messages From SAP Sales & Service Cloud v2 Fails With Error Message "HTTP Status 404 – Not Found"

Creating or modifying the entities(Customer/Contact etc), messages from Sales & Service Cloud V2 towards SAP Cloud Integration(SAP CPI) are failing with "HTTP Status 404 – Not Found" error message.

SAP Sales & Service Cloud Version 2

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to "Message Monitoring" under "Integration"
3. Switch to "Outbound" view
4. Check and open the failed outgoing message and observe the error "HTTP Status 404 – Not Found"

1. The target endpoint is down, i.e..  the iflow in the target system is not deployed or temporarily down. This error can also be seen when CPI is temporarily down because then the iflows are also down(endpoints in the iflow)
   
   
2. The endpoint in SCV2 is not matching the endpoint in the Iflow. This happens when you alter the API Path in communication configuration or configure incorrect communication configuration. 

1. Deploy the iflow again and the messages will start getting processed. Check if the CPI is accessible and the iflow is up and running(deployed).
2. Ensure the correct communication configuration is copied. for example, Configs for ERP and Configs for S4HANA are different and their API paths will be different. 

To identify which iflow, follow the below process

1. Communication system contains the hostname
2. Communication configuration >> Asynchronous Outbound Configuration >> choose the entry which is getting failed >> copy the path under "Target Message Entity API Path"
3. Now combine the hostname and the path from second step - this should be exactly same as the endpoint displayed on the iflow when you open it from the monitor view
