3577856 - Timezone Display System in Interview Scheduling - Recruiting Management

When a user's timezone is defined as Asia/Taipei, China Standard Time (UTC + 08:00) is displayed instead of Taipei Time (UTC + 08:00).

The expectation is that when a user's timezone is defined as Asia/Taipei, Taipei Time (UTC+08:00) should be displayed.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

• Define a user's timezone as Asia/Taipei in:  Employee profile.
• Schedule an interview and observe that the displayed timezone is China Standard Time (UTC + 08:00) instead of Taipei Time (UTC + 08:00).

The Time Zone Name in our system is determined by the Zone ID (Asia/Taipei) and the user's language is (English). However, if the local is 'en_US', the system does not have the necessary information in its library, resulting in the display of "China Standard Time" instead of "Taipei Standard Time".

To get the correct display name you will need to change the user's language, the locale/language to ‘tz_TW’ => 繁體中文 (Traditional Chinese).

1. Go to Settings 
2. Select Language field
3. Select :  ‘tz_TW’ ~ 繁體中文 (Traditional Chinese) and save.
