3578222 - Inclusion of Product Image in Sales Quote is Not Supported

Symptom

Product Image is not supported in sales quote document.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Product Data - Materials.
  2. Open the product with the ID XYZ. (XYZ represents the product ID)
  3. The image is visible in the General tab.
  4. The requirement is to add this image to the sales quote item details.

Cause

The function to automatically add the product image from the product master to the sales quote is not available in the system.

Resolution

This is the current system design. 

As a workaround, you can manually add the image file into the sales quote - attachment and include it in the Output.
