3578322 - Pre-screening questions - Translation is not reflecting in the Career Site - Recruiting Management

When a pre-screening question is added to the job requisition in a language different from the editing language, it is not translated into the candidate's logged in language in the Career Site.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to Recruiting
2. Select Job Requisition
3. Job Requisition is posted in German, Spanish and English US
4. Under “Additional Candidate Questions” add 2 questions (use Add more question button > Browse > Select Language):
   * One in English US
   * One in German
5. Go to the carrier site as a candidate
6. Hit Apply Now
7. If candidate changes the Locale (on the top right) to English US, the question in German does not get translated
8. If candidate changes the Locale to Spanish, the question in German gets translated to Spanish as expected
9. If candidate changes the Locale to German, both questions are in German as expected
10. Result: The translation is not consistent for English US

The recruiter added the question to the job requisition in German while the locale was set to English US. The system will not recognize that a translation is needed when the Candidate is applying in English US, hence will not translate.

When a question is added to a job requisition using the language English US but adding the question in German, the system understands that the question needs to be displayed in German when the job requisition is viewed in English US, hence the translation does not get triggered.

If the requirement is to translate all questions into the Candidate logged in language, then the questions will have to be to added to the job requisition according to the editing language (within the job requisition, on the top right corner).
For example, add the pre-screening question in English US when the editing language is set to English or in German when the editing language is set to German.
