Symptom

  • The SySAM service does not start.

  • The SYBASE.log file shows an error:
       (lmgrd) ERROR: license files have conflicting port numbers
       (lmgrd)    -1 and 27000
       (lmgrd)     Please edit the license files so the port numbers
       (lmgrd)     on the SERVER line are identical.
