3578445 - Unable to Copy & Paste E-mail address in E-Mail Settings in Sales Quote

Symptom

An error message "Enter an e-mail address in the output settings" is displayed when an email address is pasted into the E-Mail Address field.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work center
  2. Go to the Sales Quote work center view
  3. Open a Sales Quote
  4. Click Actions
  5. Select Edit Output Settings
  6. Select E-mail in Send By
  7. Copy an E-mail Address and paste it in the E-Mail Address field in E-Mail Settings

Result: An error message occurs.

Cause

The system does not recognize an email address when it is copied and pasted into the field, when the original format is kept.

Resolution

  1. Copy the email address
  2. In the E-Mail Settings field, use "Shift - Ctrl - V for Windows / Option - Shift - Command - V for Mac" to paste the email address without formatting
