3578634 - Internal Employee Changes Report Doesn't Show All Changes

Symptom

When running report Internal Employee Changes for a certain month, not all changes happened in this month are displayed. However, if extending the key date, all changes in this month appear.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Business Analytics - Design Reports.
  2. Search and open the Internal Employee Changes report.
  3. Run the report for a specific date range (e.g., 01.10.2024 to 31.10.2024 ) and a specific employee.
  4. Observe that the change on 15.10.2024 is not displayed.
  5. Run the report for a broader date range (e.g., 01.10.2024 to 30.11.2024) and the same employee.
  6. Observe that the change on 15.10.2024 is displayed.

Cause

The issue arises due to the fact that the report can only display changes for employees if they are hired within the selected time period and a change record exists for this period.

Resolution

When running the report, ensure that the date range selected for the report includes both the hire date and the change date of the employee. If an employee has a change record before he is hired, adjust the date range to include the hire date.
