• An error occurs while importing enrollments or when enrollment screen opens for enrollment from UI- 'You can't enrol in this benefit because there is an error with the Eligibility rule configuration. Please contact your administrator.'

PS: Eligibilty Rule is not being used for this benefit

• Import enrollment file and check job response: 'You can't enrol in this benefit because there is an error with the Eligibility rule configuration. Please contact your administrator.'
• Or try to enroll from UI, errors as soon as screen opens up: 'You can't enrol in this benefit because there is an error with the Eligibility rule configuration. Please contact your administrator.'

Code issue which was validating presence of rule on old Eligibility Rule field which is now not needed.

• Engineeirng will provide the fix with 1H2025 release. Meanwhile, we encourage to follow below workaround if you had faced this issue,

Workaorund:

1. Kindly export Benefit MDF object(no need to include dependencies)
2. Remove the rule showing under eligibilityRuleId.code and import it back without any values.
3. This will remove the rule assigned on old referenced Eligiblity Rule field.
4. This Benefit.eligibilityRuleId field is not being used currently and new rules are associated instead under fields like Benefit.allowanceBenefitDetails.eligibilityRuleForAllowance.code depending on type of benefit.
