3578872 - Period Plan for Work Packages Does not Update as Planned Work Changes in Project Management

• The Period Plan for Work Packages does not update when the value in Planned Work changes.
• The expectation is for the Period Plan to adjust according to changes made to Planned Work.

Project Management

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Navigate to the Projects view.
3. Search and select for the relevant project .
4. Choose the Edit button.
5. Select the relevant task and choose the sub-tab 'Work'.
6. Choose the service for which you want to change the value of Planned Work and choose the button 'Edit Period Plans'.
7. In the Period Plans work packages window change the Planned Work to the new value.

The Period Plan for work packages does not change corresponding to the new value and still remains what was value earlier.

• The user will have to choose the 'Generate Period Plan' button after changing the planned work value.
• Once the value in planned work is changed and the button 'Generate Period Plan' is selected, the values will be changed in the 'Period Plan' section.

5. Select the relevant task and choose the sub-tab 'Work'.
6. Choose the service for which you want to change the value of Planned Work and choose the button 'Edit Period Plans'.
7. In the Period Plans work packages window change the Planned Work to the new value.
8. Choose the 'Generate Period Plan' button.
9. Select Ok in the 'Confirmation Dialog' window.

The Period Plan for work packages are updated based on the new value entered in the Planned Work section.
