3578975 - Page Navigation Appears as a Dropdown in Lite Viewer Instead of the Expected Tab Bar Mode in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following behavior occurs in SAC:

• In SAC story page navigation is set to Tab Bar and it is showed properly when opened by navigating from files.
• However, when the story is opened in lite viewer (entering the story URL directly in the browser), the page navigation appears to be in dropdown mode, but it should be in Tab Bar since it is set to Tab Bar.

SAP Analytics Cloud Version 2025.1.6

1. Login to SAC and open the story.
2. Copy the story URL and load it in a new tab.
3. The Tab Bar will not be displayed by default, instead it will display as Dropdown.
4. Note that in Default appearance > Page navigation it's set to Tab Bar.

The issue is caused by a defect in the product.

• The issue is fixed in a future** version of SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Please refer to maintenance document.

** in version 2025.08 for customers on a bi-weekly (fast track) release cycle.
** in Q2 for customers on a Quarterly release cycle (QRC).
