3579033 - Unable to Cancel the eDocument - Error "The action is not allowed for any of the selected eDocuments"

Symptom

When tried to Cancel the eDocument in status "Sent to Interface" triggers an error "The action is not allowed for any of the selected eDocuments"

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. eDocument cockpit application
  2. Select the source document
  3. Select 'Cancel' button
  4. Error occurs

Cause

Cancellation not allowed in certain status.

Resolution

An edocument can only be Cancelled in the below statuses-

    • eDocument Created
    • Not Acknowledged by Partner
    • Not Delivered to Receiver
    • Receiver Returned Error
    • Government Returned Error
    • Received by Receiver; Process Ended
