3579205 - SAP Business Objects Binary has stopped working while performing a patch Installation

Symptom

  1. While performing a patch installation on the clustered environment simultaneously then one or more patch processes throws the following error
  2. "SAP Business Objects Binary has stopped working"
  3. The CMS trace logs indicate a database deadlock. Please verify that the database is properly optimized and that data statistics are current.
  4. Clicking the "Close the Program" button will allow the patch process to proceed.
