3579247 - Unable to Cancel Production Requests in Supply Planning

There is a Production Request under supply planning details that cannot be cancelled.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Go to the Products view.
3. Search for Product ABC and Supply Planning Area DEF (ABC means Product ID and DEF means Supply Planning Area ID).
4. Open and notice there is Production Requests XYZ (XYZ means Production Request ID).
5. Open the document and notice that it's not possible to cancel it.

The issue occurred due to incorrect change of input products in the production proposal.

The row was not deleted, it was just changed the product, which led to message failure and no further documents are generated.

The ideal process to change the input product is:

1. Create a new production proposal.
2. Navigate to the Supply Control work center.
3. Go to Production Proposal view, open the production proposal and edit.
4. Find the Input product and delete row of existing product.
5. Add a new row for the new product.
6. Release the proposal.

Either delete proposals and create new or delete row of existing product, add new row for new product and release.
