3579311 - After Multi BoM Level MRP Executed on Output Product Level, No Corresponding Dependent Demand Created on Input Product Level.

After multi BoM level MRP executed for product ABC in planning area PA, production request XYZ is not displayed in the planning details of input product DEF in the same planning area as dependent demand.

*XYZ represents production request ID

*PA represents planning area ID

1. Go to work center Supply Planning, access view Products.
2. Search product ABC in planning area PA, click Open.
3. In the screen "Product Planning Details: ABC/PA", there is a production request XYZ as supply. Its source is released planning model RPM_A.
4. Go to work center Supply Planning, access view Products.
5. Search product DEF in planning area PA, click Open.
6. In the screen "Product Planning Details: DEF/PA", there is no above production request as dependent demand.
7. Go to work center Planning and Production Master Data, access view Production Models.
8. Search production model RPM_A, select tab General, in the below select subtab Details, open the used BoM.
9. Select tab Input Products, in a specific line item group and line item, we can find product DEF.

*RPM_A represents production model ID as well as planning model ID

In the corresponding BoM, input product DEF was set through an ECO. This ECO was created on a datetime YYYY_MM_DD HH_MM_SS_1, and completed on another datetime YYYY_MM_DD HH_MM_SS_2. The planning model RPM_A was created on YYYY_MM_DD HH_MM_SS_3 which is between YYYY_MM_DD HH_MM_SS_1 and YYYY_MM_DD HH_MM_SS_2. Due to this, in RPM_A latest version, product DEF was not involved. Therefore, multi BoM level MRP on output product ABC didn't bring the production request XYZ into the planning of product DEF.

Release production model RPM_A again. After that, any new production related supply of product ABC in planning area PA will be brought into the planning of product DEF in the same planning area as dependent demand, as long as multi BoM level MRP is executed on the level of product ABC.
