3579419 - "The Time Account Type unit entry must be the same as the "Unit of Measure" in SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

• When attempting to create a time account for time purchase in SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking, an error message is encountered: "The Time Account Type unit entry must be the same as the "Unit of Measure" of the pay component used in the Time Account Purchasing Profile."
• This issue occurs when the "Eligibility for purchase" option is selected in the time account and the profile is created. The assigned pay component has the Unit of Measure is set to days.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking.
2. Attempt to create a time account for time purchase.
3. Select the "Eligibility for purchase" option in the time account.
4. Attempt to create a profile.
5. Observe the error message.

The error arises due to a discrepancy with the Unit Of Measures between the objects, for example between the Time Account Type (TAT) and the Pay Component (PC). If 'Days' is used as units, it must be consistent across both the TAT and PC.

1. Review the settings in both the Time Account Type (TAT) and the Pay Component (PC).
2. Ensure that the Unit Of Measures (UoM) match in both objects. in this example the the UoM was "Dias" instead of "Days"
3. if there is a discrepancy, you can import the correct Unit Of Measure by going to Manage Data > Create the correct Unit of Measures / or create the same via import
