3579750 - Which role is required when copy a Story from Public Folder in SAP Analytics Cloud

• When attempting to copy a story in the Public folder, the copy icon is disabled and cannot be clicked.
• Which role is required here for this copy action?

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.1

1. Log on to SAP Analytics Cloud
2. Go to Public folder and select a story
3. Notice the copy icon in the top bar is disabled.

Public Files -> Create right is not granted for the user's role.

Edit the current roles assigned to the user, or create a new role. Make sure the role has the following access right granted:

• Public Files -> Create

If the copy destination is the user's private folder but not public, the following right needs to be granted as well.

• Private Files -> Create
