Symptom

  • Custom Analytical Queries application cannot be found.
  • Query Browser application cannot be found.
  • View Browser application cannot be found.
  • "Custom analytical queries" application cannot be opened with error: App could not be opened either due to an incorrect configuration or a missing role assignment.
    The navigation target "#AnalyticQuery-manage" of the app could not be resolved. This can be caused, for example, by an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad content configuration or an incorrect or missing role assignment.
  • Custom queries cannot be loaded with error: No authorization for execution of query 2CYY1_XYZ_1.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2508

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Replace deprecated business catalog SAP_CA_BC_ANA_AQD_PC with successor business catalog SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_AQA_PC.
  2. Try to open "Custom Analytical Queries" application.
  3. Getting error: App could not be opened either due to an incorrect configuration or a missing role assignment.
    The navigation target "#AnalyticQuery-manage" of the app could not be resolved. This can be caused, for example, by an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad content configuration or an incorrect or missing role assignment.
  4. Try to open a custom analytical query.
  5. Getting error: No authorization for execution of query 2CYY1_XYZ_1.

Resolution

Business catalog SAP_CA_BC_ANA_AQD_PC was deleted with 2508.
