3580044 - Payment Medium Format DTAZV as XML-Output Issue

• When creating a Payment Medium in SSCUUI 102569 "Create Payment Medium Formats" and changing the setting "Type" to "XML", the resulting file from the payment run is not in XML, it's "txt".
• The payment media downloaded is a text file, not an XML file.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Format DTAZV and copy to for example /ZDTAZV in SSCUI 102569 "Create Payment Medium Formats".
2. Change Type to "XML" and save.
3. Maintain Payment Method and change Format to /ZDTAZV in SSCUI 101972 "Set Up Payment Methods for Each Country/Region for Payment Transactions" for this payment method. Save.
4. Run a payment run with the payment method maintained in point 3.  in "Manage Automatic Payments" App.
5. Download the payment media file.

The DTAZV format is only in TXT extension, within our recommendation for incoming and outgoing payment files we have the two country-specific options as indicated in the following documentation:
