3580225 - Application Interface Framework is showing messages in process routed to /CMDBP rather then /SDCFC

Symptom

  • Application Interface Framework (AIF) is showing an in process message with in the namespace /CMDBP BP_IN.

  • Messages triggered from C4C are routed to /CMDBP & not to /SDCFC.

  • The log message "Initial AIF creation for status 102" appears in the Application Interface Framework.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Monitor the AIF interfaces in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
  2. Observe the routing of messages to the /CMDBP BP_IN 0001.

Cause

Configuration issue related to the Communication Scenario SAP_COM_0008.

Resolution

  1. Open the Communication Arrangement App.
  2. Search for Scenario ID "SAP_COM_0008" & open the related Communication Arrangement.
  3. Display Communication System.
  4. Ensure the Logical System & Business System are identical.
