Symptom

See errors as per below:

  • SQL-error "129-transaction rolled back by an internal error: distributed environment error: getCatalogMaster fails for database ID # (local database ID: #. errMsg=The index server (for the specified indexes) cannot be determined; Catalog server not active 

  • Tenant DB indexserver trace shows:

    ERROR [CODE-2566] distributed environment error: getCatalogMaster fails for database ID # (local database ID: #. errMsg=The index server (for the specified indexes) cannot be determined;Catalog server not active
