Error occurs with reference field (Count of Segments per File) on DMEE File

  • Error Message: DMEE_PAYMFORMATXXX - Navigate to node N_XXXXXXXXXXX
    Node attribute mot permitted for reference node ID: XXXXX

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

Node attribute configuration.

  • If specifying at the Reference Node ID, one of these attributes can be selected.
    • Count of segment per file
    • Count of segment per file with carriage return or line feed.

Resolution

On Map Format Data with your payment format file --> Go to File trailer record --> Number of Records  

  • Go to Attribute tab 
  • Go to Source and check
  • Mapping Procedure = Reference to Node 
  • Reference ID = DMEE
  • Attribute: Count of Segment per file
