Symptom

  • After activating the scheduling log in 'Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders' Activity/SSCUI, no change log of scheduling is available for the production order under Goto → Logs → Scheduling.
  • When checking the option scheduling under Goto --> Logs --> Scheduling, the following error message is displayed.
    • Scheduling log does not contain any entries
      Message no. C7119

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Create/Change Production Order app;
  2. Schedule the order
  3. Check the logs
  4. The message is displayed
    • Scheduling log does not contain any entries
      Message no. C7119

Resolution

The message "Scheduling log does not contain any entries (Message No. C7119)" is displayed when attempting to view the logs because there are no errors with the scheduling process.

If an error occurs during scheduling, the system will display the log directly, including the error message. The error can also be reviewed later by navigating to Goto → Logs → Scheduling.

The F1 Help for the "Automatic Log" option in the 'Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders' Activity/SSCUI provides the following information:

  • "Specifies that the scheduling log is displayed automatically after each scheduling run.
    The scheduling log is displayed:
    • For information purposes
    • When errors occurred during the scheduling run"
