This KBA explains the "Masked" function restrictions of MDF Portlets in Latest People Profile of Mobile APP after 1H 2025 release.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite
Reproducing the Issue
1.Customer configured MDF portlet and enabled Latest People Profile
2.In the related MDF portlet, several fields are set "Mask value on UI" = Yes from Configure Object Definition, i.e like below screenshot
3. However after 1H 2025 SF Mobile App release, In SF Mobile App, it will show as normal value on Mobile and ignore configuration "Masked=Yes" from Configure Object Definition.
Resolution
In 1H 2025 Mobile APP release, for custom MDF portlets in Latest People Profile, the "Mask" function is not supported.
In SF Mobile App, it will show as normal value on Mobile and ignore configuration "Masked=Yes".
For below MDF Cards
• Higher Duty or Temporary Assignment card: Field values can be masked by default but users can’t unmask the values.
• Work Order card: Field masking is not supported for fields of the "User" Data Type.
• Payment Information. Recurring Deductions, One-Time Deductions. Employee Cost Assignment, Advances cards: Field masking is only supported for the card view but not details pages.
In 2H 2025 Mobile APP release, it will be similar as other MDF entities like Payment Information: Field masking is only supported for the card view but not details pages.
