3580892 - Duplicate Documents Displayed in Manage Documents During Additional Data Collection - Onboarding

• Duplicate documents are appearing in Manage Documents during the Additional Data Collection process.
• This occurs when a candidate uploads an attachment, does not submit the step, changes the attachment to a different one, and then submits the step.
• Both attachments are then available in Manage Documents.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to Manage Documents.
2. Filter via Uploaded by > Internal User or Onboardee.
3. Enter candidate name > Apply Filter.
4. Multiple documents appear with duplicates.

The system is working as expected. Once a file is attached to a field, it is uploaded to the server. Removing it before submitting the step will not remove it from the server.

The system is using SAP UI5 Upload Collection - Instant Upload component. This component instantly uploads the files when they are selected. Therefore, when the file is attached, the upload process starts and uploads the file to the server. This is confirmed by Engineering.
