Symptom
An employee leaves on or before the Go-live date, their leaving payment was made in the legacy system and their data is loaded into SAP. If there is a need to recover any monies from that employee in the first period after go-live, schema GRET (or your own version of the schema) cannot be used, as the employee has never been processed in an actual payroll run in SAP, so therefore SAP cannot be expected to be able to re-assess the leaving period’s payments. Attempting to use GRET for this particular scenario will result in the function GTAX incorrectly calculating tax for the employee.
