3581156 - Dump database fails with msg 8009 - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

  • Unable to create database information file /usr/sap/TEMP_UPGRADE_<SID>/SWPM_import_dir/<SID>_BS_129_14149_1928134870 : No such file or directory. 
  • Msg 8009, Level 16, State 1:
    Server '<SID>', Line 2:
    Error encountered by Backup Server. Please refer to Backup Server messages for details.

  • Verify from Backup server status from DB level by following isql commands:
    use master
    go
    SYB_BACKUP...sp_who
    go
