Unable to find Background Information option in Import Employee Data

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Employee Profile

1. Navigate to Admin Tools -> Import Employee Data
2. Choose 'Select an entity' and notice that Background Information option is not present.

This is Expected Behaviour.

• To import background information, you should use the 'Import Extended User Information tool'
• With 1H 2025 release, Background Information is removed from Import Employee Data (Importing background information using Import Employee Data could overwrite existing data. therefore this option is removed to prevent any potential data loss.)
