3581588 - Automatic Release of Production Orders in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Production orders are not automatically released upon creation despite configuration in the Cloud Business Configuration (CBC).
• The status of the production order is set to 'Created' instead of 'Released' after creation or conversion from a planned order.
• The issue is observed in the Manufacturing module, specifically in the Discrete Manufacturing function.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Display production Order
2. Search by Production order Number
3. The production order is not release although the flag released upon creation is checked in CBC configuration

The Production Scheduling Profile was not maintained for the material related to the production order. Without this profile, the production order is not considered for automatic release.

1. Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders to maintain the scheduling parameters for the order type and plant.
2. Assign the Production Scheduling Profile for the material in the 'Work Scheduling' tab of the 'Change Material' app.
