3582250 - Dummy email showing as email sender when you have single sender configured - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Single sender is enabled on the instance, but when checking on correspondence section in candidate application, the sender is "dummy@sap.com"

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access Recruiting tab;
  2. Open one job requisition
  3. Select “view all candidates”
  4. Select any candidate.
  5. Click on “Correspondence” section, at the mail title
  6. You see the “from” of the email, as dummy@sap.com – However, you have a single sender enabled.

Resolution

As it turns out, the behavior with the email you configured in a single sender not showing up in the correspondence audit is expected. Our Product Management team is currently evaluating these for incorporation into future updates.
