Symptom
- Restricted measure defined in story could not be calculated properly in an optimized story in SAC
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.1.8
Reproducing the Issue
- Log onto SAC
- Create an optimized story based on the import data connection model
- Add a table into this story
- Define a restricted measure calculation and add this restricted measure into this story
- Go back to the table
=> Observe that the value of underlying measure used in this calculation is A, for example
=> Also observe that value of this restricted measure would show as 0

- In HANA Analytical Engine (MDS), we have the rule formula>selections regardless of solve order. Always the formula will take the precedence over the selections.
