3582348 - Field candidateId not synching between Candidate Profile and Job Application - Recruiting Management

The "candidateId" field is configured in both the Job Application and Candidate Profile Templates, but they are not automatically syncing as the regular behavior for the fields configured in both templates.

The field "candidateId" is configured as custom="false" in the Job Application Template and in the Candidate Profile Template. It is a standard field in the Candidate Profile Template, but it does not exist in the Job Application Template Standard Field List, therefore this behavior does not apply.

Standard Fields have specific, particular behaviors to them. I order for the sync to happen, there must be an exact match to the configuration in both templates. Therefore, in this case the sync would not happen as the field does not exist as a standard field in the Job Application Standard Fields List.

The solution in this case would be to configure custom fields in both templates instead, and copy the data onto those fields.
