3582371 - Not Able to Assign Employee Responsible to Task via Web Service Maintain Site Logistics Task

Symptom

  • The Web Service does not provide a field to update employee responsible to Task.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

Cause

The functionality to update the Employee Responsible via API is currently not available.

Resolution

  1. Currently as a standard, it is not possible to update the responsible details in webservice.
  2. However, this functionality can be achieved via PDI.
    • The SiteLogisticsTask Business Object is PSM write enabled and employee responsible can be updated via PDI.
    • The Path is SiteLogisticsTask->Root-> ResponsibleEmployeeUUID->ResponsibleEmployeeUUID/content.
