3582569 - Street Address and Telephone are not copied from delivery documents to billing documents

Symptom

For example: street address and telephone are not copied from delivery documents to billing documents.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

The sold-to party's street address changed from A to B in the outbound delivery document, but the invoice generated did not retrieve and display the updated address B.

However, when the sold-to party's street address changed from A to C in the sales order, the billing document was able to retrieve the updated address C.

Cause

This is a standard behavior.

Resolution

The copying control from delivery documents to billing documents does not typically support the direct copying of address details, such as the street address from delivery documents to billing documents for the sold-to party. The system is designed to retrieve communication information, such as addresses, mainly from the sales order level.
