3582796 - Workflow on Employment details is not triggered when changes are made via Pencil icon - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Workflow on Employment details is not triggered when changes are made via the Pencil icon (Edit button).
• Rule trace shows that workflow is triggered but workflow pop up does not come up.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Configure workflow business rule on Employment details.
2. Make respective changes via Pencil icon (Edit button) such that workflow should be triggered.
3. Confirm that the rule trace shows that workflow is triggered.
4. But workflow pop up does not come up even when approvers are added in workflow.

Expected behavior. Engineering team has confirmed that workflow does not trigger via Edit button on Employment details.

Use 'Take action' (All Actions > Employment Details) to make changes, this way workflow can be triggered.
