Symptom
When a Sales Quote is created for an international customer, the customer country in the Quote template is always written in the user's language.
For example, the template was configured for English language so everything is written in English. The user in C4C is from Germany and the customer is from France. In the template, instead of showing 'France' below the customer's address block, it is displaying 'Frankreich', which would be 'France' in German.
Please note: this is just an example scenario, the same can be faced for different languages.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Sales > Sales Quotes.
- Open the desired one.
- Click on Summary.
- See the country below the address is wrote in, for example, German language instead of English.
Cause
The reason why the country name is printed in German on the template mailform is that this address block is printed in form of postal address. According to international standard, the country name shall be printed in the sender language (so that it can be understood by the people in the sender country).
If for example, the sender language is German, the standard template will display 'Frankreich' instead of 'France'.
Resolution
This is the expected system behavior for the standard templates provided in C4C. However, custom templates can be created and defined according to each business needs.
