3583145 - How to make the "Languages and Translation" option visible in the Dimension Table within an SAP Analytics Cloud model ?

Symptom

The “Languages and Translation” option is not visible in the Dimension Table details in an SAP Analytics Cloud model

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in SAC tenant using one account with administrator role assigned.
  2. Open a model and select a dimension, in the Dimension Table
    >> Notice that there is no “Languages and Translation” option visible.

Cause

The option "Allow translation of user content" is not enabled in System Configuration.

Resolution

  1. Go to System > Administration > System Configuration 
  2. Enable the option "Allow translation of user content"
  3. Save the changes and refresh the page.
