3583286 - Unable to Refresh Master Data Query in SAP Analytics Cloud After User ID Recreation

Symptom

  • An issue was encountered in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) when a user ID was deleted after transporting the ownership of objects (connection, import/export job, model etc...)
  • The deleted user has been initially used to create afflicted import job.
  • After the deletion of the user ID, the user ID was recreated but still the import job can't be ran successfully.
  • No error message is shown apart from a generic error showcasing a correlation ID.
  • In the HAR traces for the HTTP Request rest/fpa/dataintegration?action and HTTP 500 response can be seen.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (enterprise)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the afflicted models import job
  2. Go to Data Management
  3. Run the afflicted import job, error occurs just showcasing a correlation ID.

Cause

This issue is being investigated by development.

Resolution

  • This issue is being investigated by development.
  • Current workaround involves re-creating the affected import job.
