3583342 - Debugging Groovy Scripts in SAP Cloud Integration: Utilizing External IDEs and Workarounds

Symptom

You want to use your own IDE to write and debug Groovy scripts. For this, you need JAR files containing SAP-developed code from Cloud Integration.

For example, you can import Script API JAR files available from SAP Development Tools into your own IDE project. However, additional JAR files are needed, which you cannot find, such as:

  • com.sap.gateway.ip.core.customdev.processor.MessageImpl
  • sap.it.script.custom-development
  • sap.cloud.adk.api
  • apache.camel.camel-core
  • sap.it.script.script.engine.api
  • sap.it.commons
  • sap.it.commons.logging.slf4j
