Symptom

AS Java system fails to start or terminates or core service(s) are down and you want to investigate the issue based on the startup logs. Typical symptoms:

  • SAP MC/MMC/SapControl/GetProcessList or other monitoring tool shows red or yellow or grey lights (instead of green).
  • If you try to reach AS Java administration UIs via hostname and port http://<host>:<port>/nwa you experience "503 Service Not Available" error.
