3583846 - Automatic Deletion of Payment Proposal in Manage Automatic Payments App

Symptom

  • A payment proposal was created and scheduled in the Manage Automatic Payments App.
  • After scheduling, the error message "No data created in this proposal" appeared.
  • Subsequently, the system automatically deleted the proposal with the error: "Item was deleted. Refresh the list".
  • The proposal then disappeared from "Proposal Processed" tab.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the Manage Automatic Payments App.
  2. Create Parameters (Date, Identification).
  3. Enter Posting date, Docs Entered up to, Company Code, Next Payment Date and Supplier, Check Additional Log.
  4. Save the Parameters.
  5. Confirmation message pops up: "Posting date is in the past. Do you want to continue?"
  6. Select Yes.
  7. Schedule the Proposal.
  8. The message "No Data created in the proposal" pops up.
  9. The error message "Item was deleted. Refresh the list" appears.
  10. The proposal disappears from "Proposal Processed" tab.

Cause

The posting date was either in a closed period or in the past.

Resolution

Ensure that the posting date is neither in a closed period nor in the past when creating and scheduling a payment proposal.
