3583999 - Creating Time Account Type Accrual Transfer Objects

• The Time Account Type Accrual Transfer does not exist for several employees.
• The issue occurred by custom API integration that was not populating the Original Start Date in the Initial Accrual Transfer Date Rule, and as a consequence, the following error message is appearing when clicking on certain Time Account Types in Administer Time Interface:
• "There is no next transfer date for this time account. The reason is that no time account type accrual transfer object was found for this user and time account type combination. Please contact your system administrator."

1. Navigate to any of the affected employees.
2. Go to Time > Administer Time > Time Accounts.
3. Select Time Account 
4. The aforementioned error message is displayed:

The Time Account Type Accrual Transfer was not created because the API that creates employees in Employee Central was not populating the Original Start Date in the Initial Accrual Transfer Date Rule.

To overcome the error you need to create Time Account Type Accrual Transfer object for affected Employees.

There are two options to create the failed Time Account Type Accrual Transfer object:

Option 1: Delete and Regenerate the Time Account

1. Backup Existing Time Account Details: Export the details under Import and Export > Time Account Details.

2. Delete the Existing Time Account.

3. Regenerate the Time Account: Run the Account Creation Calendar to recreate the time account.

4. Run the Accrual Calendar to ensure accruals are processed correctly.

Re-import Manual Adjustments For entries like manual adjustments and opening entitlements, import them using the backup file. Ensure that accrual entries are not included in the import (accruals should always be generated via the calendar process).

Please note, the option 2 is not recommended by SAP for recurring issues. We suggest maintaining data and configuration as previously advised to avoid similar situations in the future.

Option 2:

As a one-time activity, you can attempt creating the Time Account Type Accrual Transfer object with the correct next transfer date, along with the Time Account Type Accrual Transfer History. For more details, refer to our KBA 3017189 - How to Adjust the Next Transfer Date for the Time Account.

By implementing these solutions, you can resolve the issue and prevent it from occurring in the future.
