Symptom

In the Monitor Purchase Scheduling Agreement Items app, users experience inconsistent behavior when applying filters.

  • When filtering by a specific criterion such as material group (e.g., selecting one material group), relevant results are displayed.
  • However, when selecting all material groups or applying no filters, the app returns no results.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Monitor Purchase Scheduling Agreement Items app.
  2. Apply a filter by selecting a single material group.
  3. Observe that some results are displayed.
  4. Change the filter to select all material groups.
  5. Observe that no results are returned.
  6. Remove all filters and attempt to view results without any filter applied.
  7. Observe that no results are returned.

Cause

The issue occurs because the target quantity value in one of the Purchase Scheduling Agreements is set to 9,999,999,999, which exceeds the system’s predefined limit when summing quantities across all Scheduling Agreements. This overflow leads to no results being displayed when aggregating data.

Resolution

  • Exclude the problematic Purchase Scheduling Agreement with the excessive target quantity from your analysis.
  • Alternatively, deselect the "Target Quantity" column from the List Page settings in the Monitor Purchase Scheduling Agreement Items app to avoid aggregating the large value.
