3584547 - The Data Provisioning (DP) Agent is disconnected in SAP Datasphere

Symptom

The Data Provisioning (DP) Agent is disconnected.

The following issues are observed: 

  • Registration of DP Agent is failing with the following error message: Agent Admin HANA User credentials are missing. Please connect to SAP HANA first and then try again.

  • The following error can be found in the DP Agent framework trace (framework.trc): : 2025-03-07 13:02:22,802 [ERROR]  DPFramework | JDBCConnector.makeConnection [] - Ensure that the IP address of the agent host is allowlisted in SAP HANA system.

  • Error in Console log while loading SAC Story:
    169.main.c71753eb49a9c1768245.js:19 2025-02-25T14:34:40.732Z [ERROR] Failed to fetch data (Correlation Id: undefined), devMessage: Error [Server]: (#42208) Can't read the view :******::[INAMODEL], reason: Unable to connect remote source, clientStatusCode: 42208, serverStatusCode: 200
