Environment
- SAP Datasphere
- Data Provisioning (DP) Agent
Cause
Missing IP addresses from the allow list in Datasphere.
Resolution
- The IP allow list could be misconfigured; user can validate this by enabling a 0.0.0.0/0 rule and restarting the agent. If the same message is still appears, the allowlist is not really the issue.
- Second, the firewall or some other network security on the agent LAN could be blocking the connection. This would need to be solved by your network team adding a rule to permit the flow of traffic between the agent and Datasphere/SAC.
- Check IP Addresses used in your SAP Datasphere according to SAP KBA 3456052 FAQ: About IP Addresses used in SAP Datasphere.
- Make sure all NAT IPs and LB IPs of your Datasphere's HANA Cloud Database are added to the IP allow listing of the firewall.
