3584549 - Some IAM apps in successor business catalogs are not automatically activated when managing the deprecated business catalogs after an upgrade - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2502

Symptom

Following the steps in How to Manage Deprecated Business Catalogs After an Upgrade , using the "adopt changes" from Business catalogs app or Manage Business Role Changes after upgrade, the the newly added IAM Apps in the successor business catalogs are added as inactive by default.

The Apps which were already part of the previous Business Catalog (with the same IAM App ID) are added as active.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2502

Resolution

When making changes to the deprecated business catalogs, a list of affected business roles is generated. Please record these affected business roles.

Once the changes have been adopted, use the Mass Change functionality in app Maintain Business Roles to activate all the IAM apps in the affected business roles.

From Maintain business roles application, when adding a business catalog, there is a switch to say if the IAM apps have to be included activated/deactivated.
