3584582 - Storage Bin Type Fails to Populate Units from Warehouse Attributes in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • The Storage Bin Type does not populate Units from warehouse attributes.
  • This issue is observed when new storage bin types are created for a warehouse.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create new storage bin type for a warehouse.
  2. Observe that the weight and volume units are not populated.

Cause

The unit of weight is not maintained for the Warehouse number being used.

Resolution

Missing definition of attributes such as weight unit, unit of length, and currency for the warehouse in the configuration "Define Warehouse Attributes."
