Requirement to have the Business Place and Section Code Mandatory 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Cloud Edition 

From 2508 it is possible to create validation rule to make entering of Business Place and Section Code Mandatory 

This is example of customizing, note all validations are customers own responsibility. Customize and test in accordance with own requirements prior to implementation on production.

• In app "Manage Substitution / Validation Rules - Journal Entries"   (App ID F4406)
• Select Create Rule.
  
  In this example: 
• Enter Business Context: Journal Entry Item 
• Enter Event: Journal Entry Item

• Example For: Business Place 
• By selecting the Precondition field, a new view will appear.
• Here enter the Field/Function for example:
  
  

• Enter all the Fields/Functions in the same manner.

• Complete the same steps for: Section Code
• Below example for Section Code

• Complete a Test: 
• Create supplier Invoice example using App Create Incoming Invoices (App ID FB60)
