3584796 - Field Ordering in Compensation Information - Employee Central

• The e.g. Compa Ratio field in the Compensation Information portlet is not appearing in the desired order.
• Despite being placed at the top in the BCUI and in the Configure People Profile, the Compa Ratio field appears as the last field in the employee's profile in viewing mode.
• When editing Compensation Information, the Compa Ratio field appears at the top as the first field.

1. Navigate to the employee profile.
2. Check the Compensation Information portlet, and compare field order with Manage Business Configuration (BCUI) when clicking on History button (clock icon).
3. Now click Edit button (pencil icon) from Compensation Information portlet, the order is respecting what's set in Configure People profile as per KBA 2388035.

As per current system design, field ordering takes precedence on calculated fields (e.g. Annualized Salary) before Compa Ratio when accessing Compensation Information via History button (clock icon).

Note that we're talking about Legacy People Profile instead of Latest People Profile because they have different behaviors.

So, when referring to Edit button (pencil icon), system respects KBA 2388035.

However, when clicking on History button (clock icon), system does respect Manage Business Configuration by maintaining calculated fields (e.g. Annualized Salary) before Compa Ratio, for example.
