The "unit of measures" are with different dimensions (e.g. hour and piece) which cannot be converted into each other.

The cost rate for the cost center/activity type has the correct unit of measure, however, error still happens.
There are also generic cost rates (e.g., employee service cost levels) that take precedence over cost rates specifically defined for cost centers or activity types.

The generic cost rate attribute, such as the service cost level, must be incorporated as an additional feature within the cost rates assigned at the cost center or activity type level.
Consequently, distinct rates must be defined for each specific service cost level, thereby increasing the granularity and prioritization of these cost rates.
