3585095 - Update on PFS Migration - Simplified Print Forms Service Credentialing and Provisioning

• The process for Print Forms Service (PFS) generation in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding is changing from 1H 2025 release.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 

In the 1H 2025 release, The PFS will be transitioned to SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment. With this, the following enhancements are made in the PFS credentialing and provisioning services:

• P-User ID concept is no longer required to enable PFS, removing the need to renew password every six months.

• Provisioning for PFS tenants is automated, removing the need for manual requests.
• In the current approach to set up PFS for onboarding, Customer/Partner need to request for PFS tenant and set it up in the provisioning. To simplify the process for the customers, The PFS tenants will be auto provisioned. You no longer need to request a PFS tenant, saving you time and effort. There will no longer be the need to use "P-User" and including the rotation of the P-User password.

NOTE: 

• The PFS (Print form Services) is used to generate documents in onboarding. Currently, Enabling Print Forms Service in Provisioning is a procedure that most partners will take on behalf of their Onboarding customers, to set up the document flow step in onboarding process. 
• This feature will only be present for NEWLY provisioned tenants hence for existing tenants prior to PFS auto provisioning, they should still set this tenant up the old way.

Timelines: 

The enhancements with the PFS transition aren't available immediately in the Preview and Production instance with the 1H 2025 Release. The transition is planned in a phased manner taking one data center at a time. Please track above community blog for latest update on dates and times as datacenters implement this new protocol and feature functionality.
