3585253 - Task Title in Opportunity's Playbook not Expected

Symptom

You have noticed that, for some tasks in the Opportunity Guided Selling, the title is not kept from Playbook, but it is created under "Task For Opportunity xxx".

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Guided Selling.
  2. Click "+" to create a new Opportunity.
  3. Save and Open.
  4. Now, open the Opportunity in the Guided Selling.
  5. You will see that, in the first Playbook Card, the Activity "Task For Opportunity OPP 2024" is appearing.
  6. As per the Playbook configuration, it should have another title previously maintained.

Cause

Playbook has two fields:

Title: this appears on the proposal card name in Guided Selling.

Description: this appears as the activity name e.g. task name when you create in Guided Selling.

In this case, issue is happening because title has been maintained correctly, but the description is empty. Hence, a default name based on the opportunity name i.e. "Task for Opportunity XXX" gets created.

Resolution

In order to solve this, please also maintain a value for the Description field within the Playbook.
